Jewelry

Czor has mostly been involved with larger scale art in the form of Public Art sculpture and Diffraction Grating Art panels.  Jewelry became an offshoot of the Diffraction Grating sculpture because there were so many interesting scraps of diffraction grating plastic film left around the studio.

Pendants

Cast epoxy with encapsulated and heat modified Diffraction Grating film with leather cord.

“Stars”

Heat embossed Diffraction Grating Mylar film with argentium sterling silver or gold filled French ear wires.

“Shield”

Heat embossed Diffraction Grating Mylar film with argentium sterling silver or gold filled French ear wires.

“Galaxy”

Heat embossed Diffraction Grating Mylar film with argentium sterling silver or gold filled French ear wires.  In all above (Star, Shield, and Galaxy) I’ve been adding turquoise or red coral beads that hang from the bottom in order to keep them positioned.  They are so light weight that they previously became tangled in long hair.

Czor is mostly working in large scale sculpture and wall-hung Diffraction Grating panels.  For a time, Diffraction Grating jewelry became an offshoot of sculpture, and then the cast epoxy jewelry became an even further experiment.
