Horseman 2

“Horseman 2” is a painted Lexan maquette, 30″ x  8″ x 5″.

When I worked on this series, I was expressing my love for horses.  They helped humanity grow up through centuries of exploration and conflict.  Two completely different lifeforms at times in complete communication.  I hope that as we fully enter the Space Age and our planet changes beyond recognition that we will not forget nor ever leave behind our horse brothers and sisters.  Can we take them with us?  For this design, I chose an abstract shape for a horse and another for a human then fused them together with parabolic arches, reaching for the stars.
